Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

boots of butt kickingBoots of butt-kicking, flaming armour, pantyhose of great strength, and a bad-ass bandanna.  All were involved in last Wednesdsay’s “Games Night,” during our first round of the card game called “Munchkins.”  We busily battled potted plants and flying frogs, while engaging in our usual snacking and laughing.  We also enhanced the game by changing the rules to stamp out heterosexism and usher in a new era of gender fluidity in role-playing.

There was also some big-time (Monopoly) money won at Jeopardyke, lots of interesting conversation about what it means for the Olympic Committee to welcome trans athletes, and some shared despair at our inability to win pie pieces in Trivial Pursuit.  Next time, maybe we’ll gang up — us against the board.
