Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

Are you involved with a Gay-Straight Alliance, or would you like to be?   The provincial office of the Nova Scotia Youth Project will be in Canning on March 2 to offer a day-long training sessions for students on leading GSAs.  Details are below.

The Youth Project is pleased to announce the launching of The GSA Roadshow! We have received funding from the Canadian Women’s Foundation to organize and run day long GSA leadership training sessions around Nova Scotia. The first date and location of The GSA Roadshow will be in Canning, NS on Saturday March 2, 2013 at Northeast Kings Education Centre! This Roadshow is open to all students who are active in leading and running GSAs in the Valley area.  It is a day long event, with workshops to help strength and provide resources to existing GSAs, a free lunch and swag! Please get your registration in by February 26, 2013. The GSA Roadshow will be capped at 20 students so make sure to get your registration forms in ASAP!
