Feb. 5 Drop In: Get Hooked

Local artist Margaret Forsey will join us at the next Drop In on  Wednesday, February 5, to demonstrate her rug hooking techniques.  This image to the left is an example of her work. Margaret will have supplies to share so we may all try the art of rug hooking.   This is a great use for old clothes you no longer wear but can’t part with. The best fabrics are jersey (like old t-shirts), and polar fleece. Yarn and ribbon can also be used.  So feel free to bring your own bits and pieces to add to the fabric that Margaret will provide.

Drop In runs from, 6:30 – 8:30 in Room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St, New Minas.

We’ll have our usual go-round of introductions and catch-up with what’s new,  along with snacks and soft drinks.  If you need more information, use the “Contact Us” tab or leave a comment. All Trans*, Bi-Sexual, Lesbian,  Gay and Questioning youth, 25 years and younger are welcome. And your friends can come along with you.
