Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

Can you lend a hand?

We could use some volunteers to help with a fundraising project.

Mr. B’s Tees is producing Tie Dye T-Shirts and rainbow coloured wrist bands for sale at the Wolfville Farmer’s Market  “Pride at the Market” event of July 23. Mr. B’s Tees has generously offered to donate a portion of their sales profits of these items to the Valley Youth Project. They could use some volunteer help producing the T-shirts and bracelets before the Pride Market. You don’t need any experience to help out. The team at Mr. B’s will teach you how to make the items in cooperation with their employees.

If you are able to help out, you can make arrangements by calling Tara Steadman at 582-1280, during their office hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday, before July 23.

Mr. B’s Tees is located in Canning and works in partnership with CAPRE, an organization that helps adults with intellectual disabilities to operate their own business. Find out more at their websites www.mrbe.ca and www.capre.org.  The VYP is excited about this opportunity to cooperate with Mr. B’s Tees and CAPRE.
