Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

A guest facilitator, Lis van Berkel, will bring some audio recording equipment with her to our February 4th Drop In and demonstrate some techMicrophonesniques for creating oral histories by interviewing people and recording their stories. We’ll have a chance to play with the equipment to interview each other, record our own voices and edit them into stories. Lis will follow up with our results at the next Drop In on February 18.

If you’re new to this type of documentary, you can find some examples at Story Corps .

Please join us Wednesday February 4,  at 6:30-8:30, in room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St., New Minas.  We welcome all LGBT / MOGAI youth 25 years and under, and your friends.  There is no membership to sign up for, just come on in.  We have snacks.
