Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

MicrophonesOur guest facilitator, Lis van Berkel, will  return on Feb. 18 with the recordings we made at our last Drop In.  We’ll practice  some editing skills using the recordings, and we’ll continue discussing how to interview people to create oral histories.  Maybe it’s time for the VYP to make some podcasts?

If you’re new to this type of documentary, and curious about it,  you can find some examples at Story Corps .

You didn’t have to be at the last Drop In to enjoy this one. (Okay grammar police, did I get my tenses right on that last phrase?)

Please join us Wednesday February 18,  at 6:30-8:30, in room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St., New Minas.  We welcome all LGBT / MOGAI youth 25 years and under, and your friends.  There is no membership to sign up for, just come on in.  We have snacks.
