Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

Sept. 16 -Drop In Returns

Rainbow flag It’s the beginning of a new Drop In season on Wednesday September 16, 2015.  So how did you spend your Summer vacation?  Please join us to share your stories, and give us some ideas for activities we can do at upcoming Drop Ins.

If you haven’t been before, this is what happens at Drop In:  We meet in Room 128 in the Louis Millet Community Complex (LMCC), at 9489 Commercial St. in New Minas, the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Drop In runs from 6:30 – 8:30. We begin each Drop In with reviewing our guidelines for making a welcoming respectful space and then do introductions and check in with what’s new with everyone, and then move on to the activity for the evening. You can decide how much you wish to participate in the activity and conversation.  We provide snacks and drinks. ( It is a sober and drug-free space.)   All LGBTQ  /  MOGAI individuals 25 years and under are welcome. You can bring your friends too. There is no membership to sign up for, just drop in when you want to.

If you’re taking the Kings Transit, get off at either the Flower Cart or the KenWo Golf Course stops – the LMCC is a short walk in-between these two stops.  You can find the bus schedule here http://www.kingstransit.ns.ca/schedules.aspx. We have bus tickets to share if you need them.
