Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

Stephen Universe grows up in the town of Beach City living with three magical humanoid aliens called Gems, trying to save the world …

If you know them and you love them, show us your favourite clip and let us know what’s so great!  If you’re new to them, get some from other participants… or binge-watch them in preparation.

At our next Drop In, January 20, we’re inviting you to share a clip from Stephen Universe or Adventure Time.  No worries if you don’t have a clip to show — there will be lots to watch and discuss.  If you want to share a clip, please watch it in advance so you can tell us the basic storyline and why you like it.

Drop In is at the usual time and place: 6:30-8:30, in room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St., New Minas.

It’s okay to arrive later than 6:30, or leave before 8:30. We welcome queer youth and friends, 25 years and under.  There is no “membership” you need to join, just come on in.

A young human-like creature named Finn and his best friend, a dog named Jake, live in a future after the bombs have fallen and magic has come back into the world.

Oh, and if you’d like to vote for your favourite way to describe the shows to someone who’s never watched them, click on the polls below…
