Valentine’s Day is approaching, but did you know that February 14th is also Pink Triangle Day? Pink Triangle Day is a Canadian holiday that celebrates queer love in all of its forms. The day was declared by the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Rights Coalition in 1979. You can find out more about the day here: http://pinktriangleday.com/
Come join us at drop in this Wednesday and make some Valentine’s Day or Pink Triangle Day cards for the special people in your life. We will have lots of supplies so you just need to bring your creativity.
Drop In is at the usual time and place: 6:30-8:30, in room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St., New Minas.
It’s okay to arrive later than 6:30, or leave before 8:30. We welcome queer youth and friends, 25 years and under. There is no “membership” you need to join, just come on in.
