Pacman, Space Invaders, Sonic the Hedgehog… This week we’re dusting off the classics. We’ll have video games from the 80s and 90s set up for you to try for the first time or fall in love with all over again.
Ellie is a friend of the VYP and retro games enthusiast who will be our special guest. She will show you how to set them up on your own laptop or tablet, so bring a device if you want to try it out. She’ll also be bringing Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros, Final Fantasy, Q-bert, SwordQuest, Raiders of the Lost Arc, and dozens more.
Drop In is at the usual time and place: 6:30-8:30, in room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St., New Minas. It’s okay to arrive later than 6:30, or leave before 8:30; everyone is welcome to hang out, chat, and eat snacks, in addition to or instead of the main activity. We welcome trans and queer youth and friends, 25 years and under. There is no “membership” to join… just bring your fabulous self.
