Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

Drawing of sun with smile and sunglassesWith any luck, tomorrow evening we’ll have some sun to enjoy so we can hang out on the lawn behind the LMCC.  We’ll have our picnic blanket, snacks, and outdoor toys.  After our usual round of introductions, you’re welcome to hang out and talk, play games.  Some people might want to head from there to the vigil in Wolfville — we can talk about it and arrange transportation there and home if people are interested.

You might want to bring:

  • your VYP library books (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! :))
  • a signed permission form for the Queer Prom (we’ll have blank ones to take home if needed)

And don’t forget that we will be at tonight’s vigil, 7pm in Kentville.  You can request transportation for either event.

We’ll meet inside at the usual time, 6:30  pm in room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St., New Minas. Then we’ll go find a patch of grass to play on.

If you’re taking Kings Transit, get off at the Flower Cart or Ken Wo Golf course stops. The LMCC is in between these two stops. We have bus tickets to share, and you can also request free transportation.
