Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

Dec 7: Valley-Wide GSA Night

Don’t forget that our next drop-in, on Dec. 7, is GSA Night! Participants are welcome from Pride Societies, Gender and Sexuality Alliances, and other groups that make the Annapolis Valley more awesome for 2SLGBTQI+ Youth. For this drop-in, we’re pulling out all the stops; we’ll have the button maker, gender-creative colouring pages, library books, and games available, in an open-format evening.  Try all or none of the activities, share snacks, catch up with old friends, and meet new people.  At least two adult facilitators are always on-site to introduce people, keep supplies and snacks topped up, help out, or just offer a listening ear.

Transportation (via van service or cab) is free from anywhere in Hants, Annapolis, and Kings county if you sign up by Friday, Dec. 2. Bring your whole group, or whoever can make it, and meet folks from far and near.

What: Socialize, read, colour, play, eat, and meet people from across the Valley

When: 6:30 -8:30PM, Wed. Dec. 7

Where: Room 128, Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St. New Minas.

If you can’t stay the whole time, that’s fine — you can arrive or leave at any time in-between. There is no membership or registration, just show up. If you’re new to the building, just follow the Valley Youth Project signs to the room with the Rainbow Flag on the door. We’ll have snacks and drinks for all.
