Making the Annapolis Valley a better place for LGBTQ youth and our allies

We have a couple things going on at the February 1 Drop In.  First, we will have all your Clay Ground pottery creations from last Drop In for you to pick up. If you can’t be there to pick up your piece this we1987ek, we will hang on to them all until you can get to Drop In again.

With Pink Triangle Day approaching  – also known as Valentine’s Day – we thought we would  use our art supplies to make our own greeting cards and buttons.  It’s not always easy finding the words we want to say in our local card shop – so here’s your chance to create your own queer, or anti-, valentine  sentiments.

Check out this website – Pink Triangle Day – to find out how this celebration came to be thanks to some Nova Scotia activists, back in 1979.

Drop In is at the usual time and place, 6:30-8:30, in Room 128 of the Louis Millet Community Complex, 9489 Commercial St. New Minas.  The LMCC is between the Ken Wo  Golf Course and Flower Cart bus stops on the Kings Transit route. If you need a ride, submit a Transportation Request, to arrange a ride at no charge to you.
